4th and 5th graders ended the year with a cross curricular project. They made a mall. Each team had to come up with a business plan, advertising, logos and slogans. They had to hire employees that met specific qualifications, and use advertising tricks. All of their plans had to be written out and submitted before building their store. Their stores had to measured by area and volume, and they had to take other measurements into consideration. They also had to work together in teams. They did a great job and the end result is astounding!
