Strain Japan R-XVI is monitoring the potential for severe weather tomorrow. The National Weather Service has indicated a chance of severe weather in the afternoon and evening.
At this time, we plan to operate on a normal schedule for Monday, April 27. If there are any changes, parents will be notified.

Some of our 2nd and 3rd grade students wanted to review their states, so we turned it into a game of Twister using a United States map! Students stretched, reached, and balanced their way across the country while practicing geography skills.

Our 2nd and 3rd grade students had an exciting, hands-on learning experience this week! 🪁✨
Students had the opportunity to decorate, build, and fly their very own kites, bringing creativity and science together in a fun and meaningful way.
In 3rd grade, we’ve been working with MO LEAP practice passages to prepare for MAP testing, and this unit focused on kites. To make learning more engaging, we took it a step further—integrating science concepts and bringing the content to life right before our eyes!
